What Kontent.ai (BYOK) is for

Kontent.ai (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own Kontent.ai data through the Kontent.ai API with a key you supply (Delivery API secure access key). Read-only: 7 tools (list_content_items, get_content_item, list_content_types, get_content_type, list_taxonomy_groups, get_taxonomy_group, list_languages). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to deliver.kontent.ai. What it does

  • list_content_items: List published content items with their system details (type, language, collection, last modified) and elements. Filter by content type or collection; page with limit and skip.
  • get_content_item: Get one published content item by its codename, with system details and all elements.
  • list_content_types: List content types (the models behind your items) with their element definitions.
  • get_content_type: Get one content type by its codename, with its element definitions.
  • list_taxonomy_groups: List taxonomy groups with their nested terms.
  • get_taxonomy_group: Get one taxonomy group by its codename, with its nested terms.
  • list_languages: List the environment's languages with ID, name and codename.

BYOK key

You bring your own Kontent.ai Delivery API secure access key (https://kontent.ai/learn/docs/apis/delivery-api). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to deliver.kontent.ai over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.
