What Lattice (BYOK) is for

Lattice (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own Lattice data through the Lattice API with a key you supply (Lattice API key). Read-only: 11 tools (get_me, list_users, get_user, list_direct_reports, list_departments, list_goals, get_goal, list_goal_updates, list_review_cycles, list_feedback, list_tags). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to api.latticehq.com, api.emea.latticehq.com. Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Lattice. Lattice and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with.

Ask your assistant things like:

  • "Which Lattice user is my API key tied to?"
  • "Who works at our company in Lattice?"
  • "Show Lattice user u1"
  • "Who reports to Lattice user u1?"
  • "Which departments does Lattice have?"
  • "Which company goals are active in Lattice?"

What it does

  • get_me: Show the Lattice user the API key belongs to: name, email, title, department, manager and status. Contains personal employee data.
  • list_users: List Lattice users (active by default) with name, email, title, status, manager and department, paged by cursor. Contains personal employee data.
  • get_user: Get one Lattice user by id: name, email, title, status, job fields, manager and department. Contains personal employee data.
  • list_direct_reports: List the users that report to one Lattice user. Contains personal employee data.
  • list_departments: List Lattice departments with id, name and description.
  • list_goals: List Lattice goals with state, status, type, progress amounts, dates, department and parent goal.
  • get_goal: Get one Lattice goal by id with state, status, progress amounts, dates, department and parent goal.
  • list_goal_updates: List progress updates across all goals (comment, status green, amber or red, increment), paged by cursor.
  • list_review_cycles: List Lattice review cycles with name, stage and key dates.
  • list_feedback: List continuous feedback given in Lattice, newest first, with body, visibility, author and targets. Contains personal employee data.
  • list_tags: List Lattice tags with id and name.

BYOK key

You bring your own Lattice Lattice API key (https://developers.lattice.com/docs/authentication-1). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to api.latticehq.com, api.emea.latticehq.com over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.

Data sources

Live from the Lattice API (api.latticehq.com, api.emea.latticehq.com) with a BYOK key; documentation: https://developers.lattice.com/reference/introduction. Endpoints checked against that documentation on 2026-10-16.

What it is not

Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Lattice. Lattice and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with. It is read-only: it never creates, changes, sends or deletes anything in your Lattice account.
