What LaunchDarkly (BYOK) is for

LaunchDarkly (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own LaunchDarkly data through the LaunchDarkly API with a key you supply (LaunchDarkly API access token (a Reader role token is enough; commercial site, not EU or federal)). Read-only: 7 tools (list_projects, list_environments, list_feature_flags, get_feature_flag, list_segments, list_metrics, list_audit_log). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to app.launchdarkly.com. Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by LaunchDarkly. LaunchDarkly and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with.

Ask your assistant things like:

  • "Which LaunchDarkly projects do I have?"
  • "Which environments does LaunchDarkly project default have?"
  • "Which feature flags exist in LaunchDarkly project default?"
  • "What variations does LaunchDarkly flag new-checkout have?"
  • "Which user segments does LaunchDarkly project default have in production?"
  • "Which metrics are defined in LaunchDarkly project default?"

What it does

  • list_projects: List LaunchDarkly projects with key, name and tags.
  • list_environments: List the environments of a project with key, name, colour, tags and safety settings (critical, confirm changes, require comments). SDK keys are not returned.
  • list_feature_flags: List the feature flags of a project with key, name, kind, tags, creation date and state; add an environment key to include per-environment settings. Creation dates are Unix milliseconds.
  • get_feature_flag: Get one feature flag by key with its variations, tags, state and, when an environment is given, that environment's settings.
  • list_segments: List the segments of one environment with key, name, tags, creation and modification dates and rules.
  • list_metrics: List the experiment metrics of a project with key, name, kind, event key and attached flag count.
  • list_audit_log: List recent audit log entries (who changed what) with date in Unix milliseconds, kind, name and description; filter by time range or text.

BYOK key

You bring your own LaunchDarkly LaunchDarkly API access token (a Reader role token is enough; commercial site, not EU or federal) (https://app.launchdarkly.com/settings/authorization). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to app.launchdarkly.com over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.

Data sources

Live from the LaunchDarkly API (app.launchdarkly.com) with a BYOK key; documentation: https://launchdarkly.com/docs/api. Endpoints checked against that documentation on 2026-10-16.

What it is not

Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by LaunchDarkly. LaunchDarkly and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with. It is read-only: it never creates, changes, sends or deletes anything in your LaunchDarkly account.
