Lightspeed Shop Shipping, Payment and Tax Setup (your keys) lets an AI assistant read your own Lightspeed Ecom Setup data through the Lightspeed Ecom Setup API with a key you supply (API key). Read-only: 8 tools (list_shipping_methods, get_shipping_method, list_shipping_method_countries, list_shipping_method_values, list_payment_methods, list_taxes, list_countries, list_languages). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to api.webshopapp.com. What it does

  • list_shipping_methods: List the shop's shipping methods with type (default, cash on delivery, pickup), free-shipping threshold, payment fees and title.
  • get_shipping_method: Get one shipping method by id with type, free-shipping threshold, payment fees and description.
  • list_shipping_method_countries: List the countries one shipping method delivers to (id, ISO codes and name).
  • list_shipping_method_values: List the weight-based price tiers of one shipping method (minimum and maximum weight, price excluding and including tax).
  • list_payment_methods: List the active payment methods of the shop with key and title.
  • list_taxes: List the shop's tax rates with title, rate and default flag.
  • list_countries: List the countries known to the shop with id, ISO 3166 codes and title.
  • list_languages: List the shop's languages with code, locale, active and default flags.

BYOK key

You bring your own Lightspeed Ecom Setup API key (https://developers.lightspeedhq.com/ecom/introduction/authentication/). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to api.webshopapp.com over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.
