What Limble CMMS (BYOK) is for

Limble CMMS (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own Limble CMMS data through the Limble CMMS API with a key you supply (API client ID). Read-only: 10 tools (get_account, list_assets, list_locations, list_tasks, list_parts, list_vendors, list_purchase_orders, list_purchase_order_items, list_statuses, list_priorities). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to api.limblecmms.com, eu-api.limblecmms.com, ca-api.limblecmms.com, au-api.limblecmms.com, 21cfr-api.limblecmms.com. Ask your assistant things like:

  • "Which Limble account am I connected to?"
  • "Which assets are at location 12 in Limble?"
  • "What locations are set up in Limble?"
  • "Which Limble work orders are still open for asset 345?"
  • "Which Limble spare parts are below their minimum quantity?"
  • "Which vendors does Limble have on file?"

What it does

  • get_account: Show which Limble customer the credentials belong to and its plan; a quick check that authentication works.
  • list_assets: List assets with name, parent asset, location, start date, weekly run hours and last edit time.
  • list_locations: List locations (sites) with timezone, weekly operating hours, region and currency.
  • list_tasks: List work orders and tasks (preventive maintenance, work requests, planned and unplanned work) with due and completion dates, asset, assignee and priority.
  • list_parts: List spare parts with part number, category, stock on hand, minimum quantity threshold, price and storage bin.
  • list_vendors: List vendors with contact person, location and last edit time.
  • list_purchase_orders: List purchase orders with vendor, location, order date, expected date and state.
  • list_purchase_order_items: List purchase order line items with quantity, rate, quantity received and the part or task they belong to.
  • list_statuses: List the custom task statuses (ID, name, description) so statusID values on tasks can be read.
  • list_priorities: List task priorities with level, name and colour.

BYOK key

You bring your own Limble CMMS API client ID (https://apidocs.limblecmms.com/). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to api.limblecmms.com, eu-api.limblecmms.com, ca-api.limblecmms.com, au-api.limblecmms.com, 21cfr-api.limblecmms.com over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.
