What LinearB (BYOK) is for

LinearB (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own LinearB data through the LinearB API with a key you supply (LinearB API token). Read-only: 11 tools (check_health, list_teams, list_services, get_service, list_deployments, search_incidents, get_incident, list_pm_integrations, get_team_pm_scope, get_cycle_time_report, get_pull_request_report). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to public-api.linearb.io. Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by LinearB. LinearB and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with.

Ask your assistant things like:

  • "Is the LinearB API reachable with my token?"
  • "Which teams exist in LinearB?"
  • "Which services are configured in LinearB?"
  • "Show LinearB service 7"
  • "What deployments did LinearB record recently?"
  • "Which incidents were opened in LinearB since 1 January 2026?"

What it does

  • check_health: Check that the LinearB API answers and the token is accepted; returns the message OK.
  • list_teams: List LinearB teams with id, name, parent team and contributors. Up to 50 per page; page with offset.
  • list_services: List the services configured in LinearB with the repository paths that belong to each, optionally filtered by repository id.
  • get_service: Get one LinearB service by id with its repository paths.
  • list_deployments: List deployments LinearB has recorded, newest first by default, filterable by repository, time window, stage or commit.
  • search_incidents: Search incidents LinearB tracks for DORA metrics: those opened within a date window, newest first.
  • get_incident: Get one tracked incident by its provider id: title, status, times and related release.
  • list_pm_integrations: List project-management and git integrations (Jira, Azure Boards and others) with their state.
  • get_team_pm_scope: Show which project-management boards, epics, labels and fields a team is scoped to, per integration.
  • get_cycle_time_report: Run a read-only report of cycle time (p50 and average, in minutes) and release count over a date window, grouped by organization, team or repository. Needs the Business or Enterprise plan.
  • get_pull_request_report: Run a read-only report of merged and opened pull requests, reviews and commit counts over a date window, grouped by organization, team or repository. Needs the Business or Enterprise plan.

BYOK key

You bring your own LinearB LinearB API token (https://docs.linearb.io/api-tokens/). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to public-api.linearb.io over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.

Data sources

Live from the LinearB API (public-api.linearb.io) with a BYOK key; documentation: https://docs.linearb.io/api-overview/. Endpoints checked against that documentation on 2026-10-16.

What it is not

Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by LinearB. LinearB and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with. It is read-only: it never creates, changes, sends or deletes anything in your LinearB account.
