What Locize (BYOK) is for

Locize (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own Locize data through the Locize API with a key you supply (Locize project API key). Read-only: 7 tools (list_languages, get_project_stats, list_branches, list_tags, list_tenants, list_published_files_for_version, list_published_files_for_language). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to api.locize.app. Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Locize. Locize and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with.

Ask your assistant things like:

  • "Which languages does my Locize project have and how complete are they?"
  • "How much of my Locize project is translated per language?"
  • "What branches does my Locize project have?"
  • "Which tags are configured in my Locize project?"
  • "Which tenants are linked to my Locize project?"
  • "Which published translation files does the latest version of my Locize project contain?"

What it does

  • list_languages: List the languages of a project with name, native name, reference-language flag and the share translated per version.
  • get_project_stats: Get translation statistics per version, language and namespace: translated and untranslated ratios and segment counts. The provider asks for no more than a few calls per hour.
  • list_branches: List the branches of a project (name, version, slug and id). The provider asks for no more than a few calls per hour.
  • list_tags: List the translation tags configured for a project, for example approved or reviewed. The provider asks for no more than a few calls per hour.
  • list_tenants: List the tenant projects connected to a project (name, company, URL, slug, id and subscription time). The provider asks for no more than a few calls per hour.
  • list_published_files_for_version: List every published namespace file of one project version. Expensive for the provider: use sparingly. The provider asks for no more than a few calls per hour.
  • list_published_files_for_language: List the published namespace files of one language in one project version. The provider asks for no more than a few calls per hour.

BYOK key

You bring your own Locize Locize project API key (https://www.locize.com/docs/integration/api). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to api.locize.app over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.

Data sources

Live from the Locize API (api.locize.app) with a BYOK key; documentation: https://www.locize.com/docs/integration/api. Endpoints checked against that documentation on 2026-10-16.

What it is not

Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Locize. Locize and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with. It is read-only: it never creates, changes, sends or deletes anything in your Locize account.
