What Lokalise (BYOK) is for

Lokalise (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own Lokalise data through the Lokalise API with a key you supply (Lokalise API token (read-only type is enough)). Read-only: 10 tools (list_projects, get_project, list_project_languages, list_keys, list_translations, list_tasks, list_files, list_contributors, list_glossary_terms, list_teams). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to api.lokalise.com. Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Lokalise. Lokalise and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with.

Ask your assistant things like:

  • "Which Lokalise projects do I have and how complete are they?"
  • "What are the settings and progress of this Lokalise project?"
  • "Which languages is this Lokalise project translated into?"
  • "Which keys in this Lokalise project are still untranslated?"
  • "Show the unverified translations of this Lokalise project"
  • "What open translation tasks are there in this Lokalise project?"

What it does

  • list_projects: List the Lokalise projects the token can access, with type, base language, creation date and optional progress statistics.
  • get_project: Get one project's settings and statistics: base language, review and branching settings, progress, key and word counts.
  • list_project_languages: List the languages enabled in a project with ISO code, name and right-to-left flag.
  • list_keys: List translation keys of a project, optionally for one tag, file name or only untranslated keys, without translation text.
  • list_translations: List translation entries of a project with language, text, review state and word count, optionally for one language or only unverified ones.
  • list_tasks: List a project's translation, review and QA tasks with status, progress, due date and word counts.
  • list_files: List the files of a project with the number of keys in each.
  • list_contributors: List the people with access to a project and their admin or reviewer role (no email addresses are returned).
  • list_glossary_terms: List the glossary terms of a project with their translations and flags such as forbidden or case sensitive.
  • list_teams: List the Lokalise teams the token can see with plan name and quota usage against the allowance.

BYOK key

You bring your own Lokalise Lokalise API token (read-only type is enough) (https://app.lokalise.com/profile). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to api.lokalise.com over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.

Data sources

Live from the Lokalise API (api.lokalise.com) with a BYOK key; documentation: https://developers.lokalise.com/reference/lokalise-rest-api. Endpoints checked against that documentation on 2026-10-16.

What it is not

Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Lokalise. Lokalise and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with. It is read-only: it never creates, changes, sends or deletes anything in your Lokalise account.
