What Mailjet (BYOK) is for

Mailjet (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own Mailjet data through the Mailjet API with a key you supply (API key). Read-only: 9 tools (get_my_profile, list_contacts, get_contact, list_contact_lists, list_campaigns, list_campaign_overview, list_messages, list_senders, list_templates). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to api.mailjet.com. Ask your assistant things like:

  • "Which Mailjet account is my key connected to?"
  • "Which contacts in my Mailjet list 12345 were active recently?"
  • "Show the Mailjet contact with id 1000."
  • "How many subscribers does each of my Mailjet contact lists have?"
  • "Which Mailjet campaigns were sent this month?"
  • "How did my sent Mailjet campaigns perform (opens and clicks)?"

What it does

  • get_my_profile: Show the Mailjet account profile: name, company, website and contact details of the account owner.
  • list_contacts: List contacts of the account with email, name, creation and last activity times, delivered count, spam and exclusion flags. Filter by contact list or campaign.
  • get_contact: Get one contact by id with creation and last activity times and flags.
  • list_contact_lists: List contact lists with name, subscriber count, creation time and deletion flag.
  • list_campaigns: List sent campaigns (each email going through Mailjet counts as one) with subject, sender, send start and end time and tracking options. Filter by period, list or sender.
  • list_campaign_overview: List campaign drafts, A/B tests and sent campaigns with title, subject, status and delivered, opened and clicked counts. Set at most one of sent, drafts, programmed or starred to true.
  • list_messages: List individual messages with status, subject, arrival time, contact and campaign ids. Filter by campaign, contact, custom id, time or type; set show_subject to include subjects.
  • list_senders: List registered sender addresses and domains with status and creation time; filter by email, domain or status.
  • list_templates: List email templates with name, owner type, edit mode, purposes and update time; filter by name, owner type or purposes.

BYOK key

You bring your own Mailjet API key (https://app.mailjet.com/account/apikeys). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to api.mailjet.com over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.
