What Manifold Markets (BYOK) is for

Manifold Markets (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own Manifold Markets data through the Manifold Markets API with a key you supply (Manifold API key). Read-only: 10 tools (search_markets, list_markets, get_market, get_market_by_slug, get_market_probability, list_topics, get_topic, list_comments, list_bets, get_user_lite). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to api.manifold.markets. What it does

  • search_markets: Search prediction markets by text, topic, creator, status and type, sorted by popularity, newest, liquidity, volume or close date.
  • list_markets: List markets ordered by creation (or update, bet, comment) time, with cursor pagination by market ID.
  • get_market: Get one market by ID with its probability, volume, resolution, answers (for multiple choice) and plain-text description.
  • get_market_by_slug: Get one market by its URL slug with probability, volume, resolution, answers and plain-text description.
  • get_market_probability: Get the current probability of a market (or per-answer probabilities for multiple choice), cached at most 1 second.
  • list_topics: List public topics (market tags) newest first, 500 at a time, with member counts and importance score.
  • get_topic: Get one topic by slug: name, description, member count and importance.
  • list_comments: List public comments on a market (by ID or slug) or by a user, newest first by default.
  • list_bets: List public bets, newest first, filtered by market (ID or slug) and/or bettor, with probability before and after each bet.
  • get_user_lite: Get basic public display info of a user (id, name, username, avatar) by username.

BYOK key

You bring your own Manifold Markets Manifold API key (https://manifold.markets/profile). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to api.manifold.markets over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.
