What Mercado Pago (BYOK) is for

Mercado Pago (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own Mercado Pago data through the Mercado Pago API with a key you supply (access token (APP_USR-...)). Read-only: 9 tools (search_payments, get_payment, search_customers, search_orders, get_order, search_merchant_orders, search_subscriptions, search_subscription_plans, list_payment_methods). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to api.mercadopago.com. What it does

  • search_payments: Search payments of the last twelve months with status, amount, currency, payment method, fees received and dates; filter by reference, date range, store or POS.
  • get_payment: Get one payment by id: status, amount, currency, payment method, net amount received and dates; card and payer identity details are left out.
  • search_customers: Find customers by email, with name, creation dates and live-mode flag; documents, phones, addresses and cards are left out.
  • search_orders: Search orders (Orders API) by creation date range, with type, status, total and paid amounts; both dates are required.
  • get_order: Get one order (Orders API) by id: type, status, total and paid amounts and dates.
  • search_merchant_orders: Search merchant orders of the last 90 days with status, reference, total, paid and refunded amounts and dates.
  • search_subscriptions: Search subscriptions (preapprovals) with status, plan, amount, frequency, next payment date and charge summary; filter by status, plan or payer.
  • search_subscription_plans: Search subscription plans with reason, amount, frequency, repetitions, status and subscriber count.
  • list_payment_methods: List the payment methods available to the account with type, status, allowed amount range and accreditation time.

BYOK key

You bring your own Mercado Pago access token (APP_USR-...) (https://www.mercadopago.com.ar/developers/en/docs/your-integrations/credentials). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to api.mercadopago.com over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.
