What Metorial (BYOK) is for
Metorial (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own Metorial data through the Metorial API with a key you supply (Metorial secret API key). Read-only: 9 tools (list_providers, get_provider, list_provider_versions, list_provider_tools, list_provider_auth_methods, list_provider_deployments, get_provider_deployment, list_custom_providers, get_custom_provider). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to api.metorial.com. Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Metorial. Metorial and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with.
Ask your assistant things like:
- "Which Metorial providers mention GitHub?"
- "Show Metorial provider prv_1"
- "What versions exist for Metorial provider prv_1?"
- "Which tools does Metorial provider version pvr_1 expose and which are destructive?"
- "How can I authenticate against Metorial provider version pvr_1?"
- "Which provider deployments do I have in Metorial?"
What it does
list_providers: List or search the Metorial providers (MCP servers and integrations) with publisher, current version, access level and OAuth status.get_provider: Get one Metorial provider by id with publisher, current version, access level and OAuth status.list_provider_versions: List the versions of Metorial providers, optionally for one provider, with the current version flagged.list_provider_tools: List the tools a provider version offers with key, description and read-only or destructive tags (no input schemas).list_provider_auth_methods: List the authentication methods (OAuth, token, custom) a provider version supports with scopes and adapters.list_provider_deployments: List your provider deployments with locked version, default flag and status, optionally filtered by provider or status.get_provider_deployment: Get one provider deployment by id with locked version, default flag and status.list_custom_providers: List your custom providers (function, container or remote MCP) with type, status and linked repository (no config or secrets).get_custom_provider: Get one custom provider by id with type, status and linked repository (no config or secrets).
BYOK key
You bring your own Metorial Metorial secret API key (https://metorial.com/docs/build/api). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to api.metorial.com over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.

What it is not
Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Metorial. Metorial and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with.
