What Migadu (BYOK) is for
Migadu (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own Migadu data through the Migadu API with a key you supply (Migadu account email address). Read-only: 11 tools (list_domains, get_domain, get_domain_dns_records, get_domain_usage, list_mailboxes, get_mailbox, list_mailbox_identities, list_mailbox_forwardings, list_aliases, get_alias, list_rewrites). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to api.migadu.com. Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Migadu. Migadu and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with.
Ask your assistant things like:
- "Which domains do I have at Migadu?"
- "Is example.org active at Migadu and can it send mail?"
- "Which DNS records do I need for example.org at Migadu?"
- "How much mail did example.org handle at Migadu today?"
- "Which mailboxes does example.org have at Migadu?"
- "Show the demo@example.org mailbox at Migadu."
What it does
list_domains: List the domains in your Migadu organization (those your role allows). The API describes each domain's state, sending and receiving flags and defaults.get_domain: Get one domain: state, activation dates, send/receive/access flags, spam aggressiveness, catch-all destinations and default mailbox limits.get_domain_dns_records: Get the DNS records Migadu expects for a domain: MX, SPF, DKIM, DMARC and the verification record.get_domain_usage: Get a domain's incoming and outgoing message counts and storage used (in GB) for the current day.list_mailboxes: List the mailboxes of a domain. The API describes each mailbox's address, name, protocol permissions and spam settings.get_mailbox: Get one mailbox by local part: address, name, send/receive and IMAP/POP3/ManageSieve permissions, spam action, expiry and identities.list_mailbox_identities: List the sender identities of a mailbox. The API describes each identity's address, name and permissions.list_mailbox_forwardings: List the external forwardings of a mailbox with confirmation, blocked and active state and expiry.list_aliases: List the aliases of a domain. The API describes each alias's address and destinations.get_alias: Get one alias by local part: address, internal-only flag, expiry and destinations.list_rewrites: List the rewrite rules (pattern-based aliases) of a domain. The API describes each rule's name, pattern and destinations.
BYOK key
You bring your own Migadu Migadu account email address (https://www.migadu.com/api/). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to api.migadu.com over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.
Notices
Uses Basic authentication: your Migadu account email address and an API key from My Account > API Keys. Only read endpoints are used; domain activation is not offered because it is a GET that changes state.
