What mittwald (BYOK) is for

mittwald (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own mittwald data through the mittwald API with a key you supply (mStudio API token (read role is enough)). Read-only: 11 tools (list_projects, get_project, list_customers, list_servers, list_app_installations, list_mysql_databases, list_redis_databases, list_domains, list_cronjobs, list_backups, list_mail_addresses). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to api.mittwald.de. Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by mittwald. mittwald and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with.

Ask your assistant things like:

  • "Which hosting projects do I have at mittwald and how much storage do they use?"
  • "Is my mittwald project p-abc123 ready?"
  • "Which mittwald organizations am I part of?"
  • "Which mittwald servers do I have?"
  • "Which apps are installed in my mittwald project?"
  • "Which MySQL databases are in my mittwald project and how big are they?"

What it does

  • list_projects: List the hosting projects you can access with status, server, IP address and web and backup storage use in bytes.
  • get_project: Get one hosting project: status, server, IP address, storage use, features and creation date.
  • list_customers: List the organizations (customers) you belong to with member and project counts and payment-default flag.
  • list_servers: List dedicated hosting servers with machine type, status, storage and IP address.
  • list_app_installations: List the apps (CMS, shops and similar) installed in a project with version, path, hostname and disabled flag.
  • list_mysql_databases: List MySQL databases of a project with version, host name, status and storage use in bytes.
  • list_redis_databases: List Redis databases of a project with version, host, port, status and storage use in bytes.
  • list_domains: List domains registered or connected at mittwald, optionally for one project, with name servers and deletion date.
  • list_cronjobs: List scheduled cronjobs of a project with interval, active flag, next run and time zone.
  • list_backups: List project backups with creation time, expiry and status.
  • list_mail_addresses: List mail addresses of a project with mailbox flag, catch-all, forwarding and archive usage.

BYOK key

You bring your own mittwald mStudio API token (read role is enough) (https://studio.mittwald.de/app/profile/api-tokens). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to api.mittwald.de over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.

Data sources

Live from the mittwald API (api.mittwald.de) with a BYOK key; documentation: https://developer.mittwald.de/docs/v2/reference/. Endpoints checked against that documentation on 2026-10-16.

What it is not

Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by mittwald. mittwald and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with. It is read-only: it never creates, changes, sends or deletes anything in your mittwald account.
