What MOCO (BYOK) is for

MOCO (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own MOCO data through the MOCO API with a key you supply (MOCO API key (a user key from your profile, or an account key with read-only access)). Read-only: 11 tools (check_session, list_projects, get_project, list_project_tasks, list_activities, list_companies, get_company, list_users, list_invoices, list_deals, list_planning_entries). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to *.mocoapp.com. Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by MOCO. MOCO and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with.

Ask your assistant things like:

  • "Is my MOCO API key working?"
  • "Which active MOCO projects do we have for customer 123456?"
  • "Show MOCO project 1234567 with its tasks and budget."
  • "Which tasks does MOCO project 1234567 have?"
  • "How many hours were tracked on MOCO project 944587499 in June 2026?"
  • "List our MOCO customers whose name contains 'acme'."

What it does

  • check_session: Check that the key is valid and show the id and uuid of the key's user.
  • list_projects: List projects with customer, leader, budget, billing variant and active flag. Filter by search text, customer, leader or tags.
  • get_project: Get one project with its tasks (services), assigned staff contracts, budget and customer.
  • list_project_tasks: List the tasks (services) of a project with billable, active, budget and hourly rate.
  • list_activities: List tracked time entries (activities) with date, hours, project, task, customer and user. Filter by period, user, project, task or billing state.
  • list_companies: List customers, suppliers and organizations with type, identifier, tags, currency and active state.
  • get_company: Get one company with its projects, tags, currency, VAT settings and default payment terms.
  • list_users: List the team (staff) with name, active and external flags, unit, role and tags. Contact, bank and birthday fields are not returned.
  • list_invoices: List invoices (without line items) with identifier, customer, status, dates, currency, net and gross totals. Filter by status, period, customer or project.
  • list_deals: List leads (deals) with status, value, currency, company, category probability and reminder date.
  • list_planning_entries: List planned staff time (planning entries) for a period, optionally for one user, project or lead.

BYOK key

You bring your own MOCO MOCO API key (a user key from your profile, or an account key with read-only access) (https://www.mocoapp.com/en/software/integrations). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to *.mocoapp.com over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.

Data sources

Live from the MOCO API (*.mocoapp.com) with a BYOK key; documentation: https://everii-group.github.io/mocoapp-api-docs/. Endpoints checked against that documentation on 2026-10-16.

What it is not

Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by MOCO. MOCO and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with. It is read-only: it never creates, changes, sends or deletes anything in your MOCO account.
