What Netlify (BYOK) is for

Netlify (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own Netlify data through the Netlify API with a key you supply (personal access token). Read-only: 10 tools (get_current_user, list_accounts, list_sites, get_site, list_site_deploys, get_deploy, list_site_builds, list_site_forms, list_site_submissions, list_form_submissions). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to api.netlify.com. Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Netlify. Netlify and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with.

Ask your assistant things like:

  • "Which Netlify account is my token connected to?"
  • "Which Netlify teams am I a member of?"
  • "What Netlify sites do I have?"
  • "Show details of the Netlify site my-site.netlify.app"
  • "Did the latest Netlify deploys of my-site succeed?"
  • "Why did Netlify deploy 5f2a0000000000000000abcd fail?"

What it does

  • get_current_user: Show the Netlify user the token belongs to: user ID, name, email, number of sites, login providers and last login.
  • list_accounts: List the Netlify accounts (teams) the user belongs to with slug, plan type and how many sites and collaborators are included and used.
  • list_sites: List Netlify sites the token can access with URL, state, plan, team and timestamps.
  • get_site: Get one Netlify site: URLs, custom domain and aliases, state, plan, team, Git provider, SSL and DNS flags, and region.
  • list_site_deploys: List a Netlify site's deploys, newest first, optionally only production deploys, deploy previews, a branch or a state. Returns the full deploy records.
  • get_deploy: Get one Netlify deploy by ID, returning its full record as Netlify provides it.
  • list_site_builds: List a Netlify site's builds, newest first, returning the full build records as Netlify provides them.
  • list_site_forms: List the forms Netlify has detected on a site, returning the full form records as Netlify provides them.
  • list_site_submissions: List the form submissions received by a Netlify site across all its forms, returning the full submission records as Netlify provides them.
  • list_form_submissions: List the submissions of one Netlify form, returning the full submission records as Netlify provides them.

BYOK key

You bring your own Netlify personal access token (https://app.netlify.com/user/applications#personal-access-tokens). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to api.netlify.com over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.

Data sources

Live from the Netlify API (api.netlify.com) with a BYOK key; documentation: https://open-api.netlify.com/. Endpoints checked against that documentation on 2026-10-16.

What it is not

Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Netlify. Netlify and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with. It is read-only: it never creates, changes, sends or deletes anything in your Netlify account.
