What New Relic REST v2 (BYOK) is for
New Relic REST v2 (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own New Relic REST v2 data through the New Relic REST v2 API with a key you supply (New Relic user API key (US data center)). Read-only: 9 tools (list_applications, get_application, list_deployments, list_key_transactions, get_key_transaction, list_labels, list_alert_policies, list_alert_incidents, list_alert_events). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to api.newrelic.com. Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by New Relic REST v2. New Relic REST v2 and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with.
Ask your assistant things like:
- "Which APM applications report to my New Relic account and how healthy are they?"
- "Show details of one New Relic APM application"
- "What was deployed to my New Relic application recently?"
- "Which key transactions do I track in New Relic?"
- "Show one New Relic key transaction"
- "Which labels are used in my New Relic account?"
What it does
list_applications: List APM applications with language, health status, last report time and a summary of response time, throughput, error rate and Apdex.get_application: Get one APM application by id: language, health, last report time, summary metrics and Apdex thresholds.list_deployments: List deployment markers of an APM application with revision, description, changelog and time (newest first).list_key_transactions: List key transactions with name, health status, last report time and summary metrics.get_key_transaction: Get one key transaction by id with health status and summary metrics.list_labels: List labels (category and name) with the ids of the applications and servers they are attached to.list_alert_policies: List alert policies with id, name, incident preference and creation and update times.list_alert_incidents: List alert incidents with open and close times, incident preference and policy id.list_alert_events: List recent alert events with product, entity and priority; filter by product, entity or event type.
BYOK key
You bring your own New Relic REST v2 New Relic user API key (US data center) (https://one.newrelic.com/api-keys). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to api.newrelic.com over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.
