What NocoDB Cloud (BYOK) is for

NocoDB Cloud (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own NocoDB Cloud data through the NocoDB Cloud API with a key you supply (API token). Read-only: 9 tools (get_current_user, list_workspaces, list_bases, list_tables, get_table, list_views, list_records, count_records, get_record). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to app.nocodb.com. Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by NocoDB Cloud. NocoDB Cloud and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with.

Ask your assistant things like:

  • "Which NocoDB user is my token for?"
  • "What NocoDB workspaces do I have?"
  • "What bases are in my NocoDB workspace?"
  • "What tables are in my NocoDB base?"
  • "What columns does my NocoDB table have?"
  • "What views does my NocoDB table have?"

What it does

  • get_current_user: Show the NocoDB user the token belongs to: id, name and email.
  • list_workspaces: List your NocoDB Cloud workspaces with id, title and description.
  • list_bases: List the bases (databases) in a workspace with id, title, type and status.
  • list_tables: List the tables of a base with id, title and table name.
  • get_table: Get a table's columns: id, title, column name, field type (uidt), data type, primary key and required flags.
  • list_views: List the views of a table with id, title, view type number and lock type.
  • list_records: List records of a table. Pick columns with fields, filter with where, order with sort; page with limit and offset. The answer includes pageInfo.
  • count_records: Count the records of a table, optionally matching a where filter.
  • get_record: Get one record of a table by its record id.

BYOK key

You bring your own NocoDB Cloud API token (https://docs.nocodb.com/account-settings/api-tokens/). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to app.nocodb.com over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.

Data sources

Live from the NocoDB Cloud API (app.nocodb.com) with a BYOK key; documentation: https://docs.nocodb.com/. Endpoints checked against that documentation on 2026-10-16.

What it is not

Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by NocoDB Cloud. NocoDB Cloud and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with. It is read-only: it never creates, changes, sends or deletes anything in your NocoDB Cloud account.
