What Northflank (BYOK) is for
Northflank (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own Northflank data through the Northflank API with a key you supply (Northflank API token (read permissions are enough)). Read-only: 6 tools (list_projects, list_services, list_service_builds, list_jobs, list_addons, list_pipelines). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to api.northflank.com. Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Northflank. Northflank and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with.
Ask your assistant things like:
- "Which Northflank projects do I have?"
- "Which services run in my Northflank project default-project and are they healthy?"
- "Did the latest builds of Northflank service api succeed?"
- "Which cron jobs exist in Northflank project default-project?"
- "Which databases does my Northflank project default-project have?"
- "Which pipelines does Northflank project default-project have?"
What it does
list_projects: List projects of the authenticated user or team with id, name, description and lifecycle status.list_services: List the services of a project with type, environment, CI/CD flags and current build and deployment status.list_service_builds: List builds of one service with branch, commit sha, status, success flag and timing.list_jobs: List the manual and cron jobs of a project with type, environment and whether scheduling is suspended.list_addons: List the addons (managed databases and similar) of a project with type and status; connection credentials are not requested.list_pipelines: List the release pipelines of a project.
BYOK key
You bring your own Northflank Northflank API token (read permissions are enough) (https://northflank.com/docs/v1/api/use-the-api). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to api.northflank.com over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.
