What Nuclino (BYOK) is for

Nuclino (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own Nuclino data through the Nuclino API with a key you supply (Nuclino API key). Read-only: 9 tools (list_teams, get_team, list_workspaces, get_workspace, list_items, search_items, get_item, list_item_versions, get_user). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to api.nuclino.com. Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Nuclino. Nuclino and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with.

Ask your assistant things like:

  • "Which Nuclino teams am I in?"
  • "Show this Nuclino team"
  • "Which Nuclino workspaces do I have?"
  • "Show this Nuclino workspace"
  • "What pages are in this Nuclino workspace?"
  • "Find Nuclino pages that mention onboarding"

What it does

  • list_teams: List the Nuclino teams the key's user belongs to.
  • get_team: Get one team by id: name, URL and creation date.
  • list_workspaces: List workspaces, optionally of one team, with their custom fields and the ids of their top-level items.
  • get_workspace: Get one workspace by id with its custom field definitions and top-level item ids.
  • list_items: List items and collections of a workspace or team (titles, dates and custom field values, without page content).
  • search_items: Search items and collections by text within a workspace or team; matches carry a highlight snippet. Trash and archive are not searched.
  • get_item: Get one item or collection with its full Markdown content, version counter and custom fields.
  • list_item_versions: List the saved versions of an item (newest first) with version number, title, date and author ids; content is not included.
  • get_user: Get a Nuclino user's name by id (the email address is not returned).

BYOK key

You bring your own Nuclino Nuclino API key (https://help.nuclino.com/8090bb76-authentication). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to api.nuclino.com over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.

Data sources

Live from the Nuclino API (api.nuclino.com) with a BYOK key; documentation: https://help.nuclino.com/d3a29686-api. Endpoints checked against that documentation on 2026-10-16.

What it is not

Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Nuclino. Nuclino and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with. It is read-only: it never creates, changes, sends or deletes anything in your Nuclino account.
