What Nutshell (BYOK) is for
Nutshell (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own Nutshell data through the Nutshell API with a key you supply (Nutshell user email address). Read-only: 8 tools (list_leads, list_contacts, list_accounts, list_users, list_pipelines, list_tags, list_sources, get_lead). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to app.nutshell.com. Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Nutshell. Nutshell and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with.
Ask your assistant things like:
- "What leads do I have in Nutshell?"
- "Find the Nutshell contact jane@example.com"
- "Which companies are in Nutshell?"
- "Who are the users in my Nutshell account?"
- "What pipelines does Nutshell have?"
- "Which tags exist in Nutshell?"
What it does
list_leads: List Nutshell leads (deals) with name, value, status, confidence, priority and dates. Search by text and sort.list_contacts: List Nutshell contacts (people) with name, job title, emails, phones and created time. Search by text or email.list_accounts: List Nutshell accounts (companies) with name, emails, phones, urls, addresses and employee count.list_users: List the users of your Nutshell instance with name, enabled flag, admin flag and emails.list_pipelines: List Nutshell pipelines (stagesets) with name, default flag and whether you can access them.list_tags: List Nutshell tags with type (leads, contacts or accounts) and how many records use each.list_sources: List Nutshell lead sources with name and channel.get_lead: Get one Nutshell lead by id (looks like 123-leads): name, value, status, confidence, priority, dates and link.
BYOK key
You bring your own Nutshell Nutshell user email address (https://app.nutshell.com/setup/api-key). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to app.nutshell.com over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.
