What Odds API IO (BYOK) is for
Odds API IO (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own Odds API IO data through the Odds API IO API with a key you supply (Odds-API.io API key). Read-only: 12 tools (list_sports, list_bookmakers, list_leagues, list_events, list_live_events, search_events, get_event, get_event_odds, get_odds_movements, get_odds_summary, list_dropping_odds, list_value_bets). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to api.odds-api.io. Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Odds API IO. Odds API IO and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with.
Ask your assistant things like:
- "Which sports does Odds-API.io cover?"
- "Which bookmakers are available?"
- "Which football leagues have events?"
- "What football events are coming up in the Premier League?"
- "Which matches are live right now?"
- "Find upcoming events for Arsenal."
What it does
list_sports: List the sports covered with their slugs (needed for the other tools). Needs no quota.list_bookmakers: List the bookmakers available with their active flag (names are used in the odds tools).list_leagues: List the leagues of a sport with their slugs and number of events.list_events: List upcoming or live events of a sport, optionally by league, team, status, date range or bookmaker, with scores and bookmaker count.list_live_events: List events in play now with live scores, status and match clock, optionally for one sport.search_events: Search upcoming or live events by team or player name.get_event: Get one event by id with teams, league, date, status and scores.get_event_odds: Get the current odds of one event from the chosen bookmakers, by market (moneyline, spreads, totals and others).get_odds_movements: Get how one bookmaker's odds for a market of an event moved: opening, latest and all recorded movements.get_odds_summary: Get a cross-bookmaker summary of one event's markets: each line with the books offering it, fair prices and payout.list_dropping_odds: List selections whose odds dropped most since opening or within 12, 24 or 48 hours, with the bookmaker and current price.list_value_bets: List prices at a bookmaker that are above a fair-odds estimate, with expected value.
BYOK key
You bring your own Odds API IO Odds-API.io API key (https://odds-api.io/pricing). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to api.odds-api.io over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.
