What Ometria (BYOK) is for

Ometria (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own Ometria data through the Ometria API with a key you supply (API key). Read-only: 8 tools (list_products, get_product, list_orders, get_order, list_contact_collections, list_segments, get_segment, list_custom_fields). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to api.ometria.com. Ask your assistant things like:

  • "Which products are active in Ometria?"
  • "What is the price and stock status of Ometria product SKU123?"
  • "What orders came in since the start of October in Ometria?"
  • "What is the status of Ometria order 1001?"
  • "How many contacts are in each Ometria collection?"
  • "How big are my Ometria saved segments?"

What it does

  • list_products: List products with title, SKU, price, special price, active and stock flags and URLs. Up to 250 per call.
  • get_product: Get one product by id with price, stock and active flags.
  • list_orders: List orders with total, subtotal, discount, shipping, tax, currency, status and channel. Customer details are not returned. Filter by date.
  • get_order: Get one order by id with totals, status and channel (no customer details).
  • list_contact_collections: List contact collections with the number of records in each.
  • list_segments: List saved segments (lists) with size, revenue and order totals, refresh times and status.
  • get_segment: Get one saved segment (list) by id with size, revenue and order totals.
  • list_custom_fields: List custom contact fields with category, type, title and status.

BYOK key

You bring your own Ometria API key (https://support.ometria.com/hc/en-gb/articles/360012199857-API-keys). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to api.ometria.com over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.
