What Openlayer AI projects, tests, commits, monitoring and governance rules (your key) is for
Openlayer AI projects, tests, commits, monitoring and governance rules (your key) lets an AI assistant read your own Openlayer data through the Openlayer API with a key you supply (Openlayer API key). Read-only: 11 tools (list_projects, get_workspace, list_tests, list_test_results, list_project_commits, list_data_sources, get_data_source, list_frameworks, list_rules, list_rule_results, get_compliance_stats). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to api.openlayer.com. Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Openlayer. Openlayer and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with.
Ask your assistant things like:
- "Which Openlayer projects do I have and how many tests does each run?"
- "How many projects and members does my Openlayer workspace have?"
- "Which tests does my Openlayer project run?"
- "Is my Openlayer test passing and when did it last fail?"
- "Which commits of my Openlayer project have failing tests?"
- "Which monitored data sources of my Openlayer project are failing tests?"
What it does
list_projects: List the workspace's Openlayer projects with task type, counts of commits, data sources and tests, and dates.get_workspace: Get an Openlayer workspace: project and member counts, billing status, current period and monthly prediction usage.list_tests: List the tests (goals) of a project: type, subtype, thresholds, evaluation window, whether they run on production data, and archived flag.list_test_results: List the results of one test over time: pass or fail status, status message, data window and expected value ranges.list_project_commits: List a project's commits (versions) with build status and counts of passing, failing and total tests.list_data_sources: List a project's monitored data sources (inference pipelines) with record counts, last sample time and passing and failing test counts.get_data_source: Get one monitored data source: status, record count, last sample time and test counts.list_frameworks: List governance and compliance frameworks of a workspace with enabled flag, tags and optional rule result counts.list_rules: List governance rules of a workspace (platform-checked or evidence-based) with scope, type, renewal cadence and deactivated flag.list_rule_results: List governance rule results with compliance status (passing, failing, pending, due soon), last evaluation time and next renewal.get_compliance_stats: Get compliance statistics of a workspace: rule counts by type and scope and rule result counts by status.
BYOK key
You bring your own Openlayer Openlayer API key (https://docs.openlayer.com/workspace-and-projects/find-your-api-key). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to api.openlayer.com over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.
Data sources

Live from the Openlayer API (api.openlayer.com) with a BYOK key; documentation: https://docs.openlayer.com/api-reference/rest/overview.md. Endpoints checked against that documentation on 2026-10-16.
