What OpenReplay (BYOK) is for

OpenReplay (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own OpenReplay data through the OpenReplay API with a key you supply (Organization API key (Preferences > Account)). Read-only: 6 tools (list_projects, get_project, list_user_sessions, list_session_events, list_deletion_jobs, get_deletion_job). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to api.openreplay.com. Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by OpenReplay. OpenReplay and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with.

Ask your assistant things like:

  • "Which OpenReplay projects do I have?"
  • "What is the OpenReplay project with key 3sWXSsqHgSKnE87YkNJK?"
  • "Which sessions did user jane@example.com have last week?"
  • "What did the user click in session 4813023023591169?"
  • "Are there any OpenReplay data deletion jobs still running?"
  • "What is the status of OpenReplay deletion job 3451?"

What it does

  • list_projects: List the projects of the organization with id, name, project key and platform (web or ios).
  • get_project: Get one project by project key: id, name, platform.
  • list_user_sessions: List the recorded sessions of one user (the id the tracker set with setUserID) in a time window, with event count and start and end time. Paginated.
  • list_session_events: List the events (page views, clicks, inputs, custom events) captured in one recorded session in a time window. Paginated; event properties are returned as stored.
  • list_deletion_jobs: List the user-data deletion jobs of a project with action, status (scheduled, running, completed, failed, cancelled), times and errors. User ids inside are left out.
  • get_deletion_job: Get one user-data deletion job: action, status, times and errors.

BYOK key

You bring your own OpenReplay Organization API key (Preferences > Account) (https://docs.openreplay.com/en/api/). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to api.openreplay.com over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.

Data sources

Live from the OpenReplay API (api.openreplay.com) with a BYOK key; documentation: https://docs.openreplay.com/en/api/. Endpoints checked against that documentation on 2026-10-16.

What it is not

Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by OpenReplay. OpenReplay and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with. It is read-only: it never creates, changes, sends or deletes anything in your OpenReplay account.
