What OpnForm (BYOK) is for

OpnForm (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own OpnForm data through the OpnForm API with a key you supply (OpnForm personal access token (needs workspaces-read, forms-read, workspace-users-read)). Read-only: 5 tools (list_workspaces, list_workspace_forms, get_form, list_submissions, list_workspace_users). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to api.opnform.com. Ask your assistant things like:

  • "Which OpnForm workspaces do I have?"
  • "Which forms are in OpnForm workspace 1 and how many submissions do they have?"
  • "Show the fields of OpnForm form customer-feedback"
  • "Show the latest responses to OpnForm form 42"
  • "Who is in OpnForm workspace 1?"

What it does

  • list_workspaces: List the OpnForm workspaces the token's user belongs to. Needs the workspaces-read ability.
  • list_workspace_forms: List forms of a workspace as summaries (slug, title, visibility, views and submission counts); no field definitions. Needs forms-read.
  • get_form: Get one OpnForm form by slug or UUID: title, visibility, language, close date, submission limit and the field blocks. Needs forms-read.
  • list_submissions: List submissions of an OpnForm form with answers keyed by field id; supports search and completed/partial filter. Needs forms-read.
  • list_workspace_users: List members of an OpnForm workspace with name, email and role. Needs workspace-users-read.

BYOK key

You bring your own OpnForm OpnForm personal access token (needs workspaces-read, forms-read, workspace-users-read) (https://docs.opnform.com/api-reference/api-keys). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to api.opnform.com over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.
