What OptiView Live (BYOK) is for
OptiView Live (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own OptiView Live data through the OptiView Live API with a key you supply (API token key). Read-only: 8 tools (list_channels, get_channel, list_channel_ingests, list_channel_engines, list_channel_distributions, get_distribution, list_regions, list_abr_ladders). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to api.theo.live. Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by OptiView Live. OptiView Live and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with.
Ask your assistant things like:
- "Which OptiView Live channels do I have and which are playing right now?"
- "Is my OptiView Live channel up and what is its idle timeout?"
- "Which ingests feed my OptiView Live channel?"
- "How many engines does my OptiView Live channel run and which has priority 1?"
- "Which OptiView Live distributions are enabled on my channel?"
- "Is geo blocking switched on for my OptiView Live distribution?"
What it does
list_channels: List live channels with id, name, status (stopped, deploying, starting, waiting, ingesting, playing), idle timeout in seconds and creation time.get_channel: Get one channel by id with name, status, idle timeout and creation time.list_channel_ingests: List the ingests of a channel with id, name, type (for example rtmp-push) and creation time; stream keys are not returned.list_channel_engines: List the transcoding engines of a channel with id, name, priority, DRM flag and update times.list_channel_distributions: List the distributions of a channel with id, name, enabled flag and update times.get_distribution: Get one distribution by id with enabled flag, linked engine ids, geo blocking and IP blocking switches and DVR flag (security keys are not returned).list_regions: List the cloud and on-prem regions available to your organization with id and name.list_abr_ladders: List the adaptive bitrate ladders of your organization with id and name.
BYOK key
You bring your own OptiView Live API token key (https://optiview.dolby.com/docs/theolive/api/authentication.md). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to api.theo.live over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.
Notices
Read-only: never creates, starts or stops channels or engines. Ingest stream keys, webhook secrets and distribution security keys are not returned.
