What Packagecloud (BYOK) is for
Packagecloud (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own Packagecloud data through the Packagecloud API with a key you supply (packagecloud API token (used as the HTTP basic username)). Read-only: 11 tools (list_repositories, get_repository, list_all_packages, search_packages, list_deb_rpm_versions, list_gem_versions, list_gpg_keys, get_repository_install_count, get_gem_download_count, get_repository_readme, list_distributions). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to packagecloud.io. Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Packagecloud. Packagecloud and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with.
Ask your assistant things like:
- "Which Packagecloud repositories do I have?"
- "How many packages are in the acme/production repository?"
- "What package files are in acme/production?"
- "Find packages whose filename contains 'nginx' in acme/production"
- "Which versions of the jake rpm exist for Fedora 22 in acme/production?"
- "Which versions of the gem jakedotrb are in acme/production?"
What it does
list_repositories: List the package repositories of the key's account, optionally including repositories shared with it, with privacy, last push and package count text.get_repository: Get one repository: URL, privacy, creation date, last push and package count.list_all_packages: List every package file in a repository (not grouped by version) with type, distribution, version, filename and uploader.search_packages: Search a repository's packages by filename text, package type, distribution or architecture; an empty query lists everything.list_deb_rpm_versions: List all versions of one Debian or RPM package in a repository for a given distribution, release and architecture.list_gem_versions: List all versions of one RubyGem stored in a repository.list_gpg_keys: List the public GPG signing keys of a repository with name, fingerprint, type and download link.get_repository_install_count: Count how many times the repository's install script was used in a date range (owner or collaborator for private repositories).get_gem_download_count: Count downloads of one RubyGem version in a repository over a date range (owner or collaborator for private repositories).get_repository_readme: Get the README text stored for a repository.list_distributions: List the Linux distributions and versions Packagecloud supports for deb, dsc and rpm packages.
BYOK key
You bring your own Packagecloud packagecloud API token (used as the HTTP basic username) (https://packagecloud.io/api_token). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to packagecloud.io over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.
