What Paperspace (BYOK) is for
Paperspace (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own Paperspace data through the Paperspace API with a key you supply (Paperspace API key). Read-only: 12 tools (get_session, list_machines, get_machine, list_machine_events, get_machine_availability, list_deployments, get_deployment, list_deployment_runs, list_projects, list_datasets, list_models, list_snapshots). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to api.paperspace.com. Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Paperspace. Paperspace and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with.
Ask your assistant things like:
- "Which Paperspace team does my API key belong to?"
- "Which Paperspace machines do I have and are they running?"
- "What is the state of my Paperspace machine psabc123?"
- "What happened to my Paperspace machine recently?"
- "Is a C5 machine available in Paperspace region ny2 right now?"
- "Which deployments exist on my Paperspace account?"
What it does
get_session: Show the team and user the key belongs to: team id, namespace and machine limit, plus the user's id and name.list_machines: List the team's machines with state, machine type, region, CPU, RAM in bytes, usage rate and storage. Page with the after cursor.get_machine: Get one machine: state, type, region, CPU, RAM, accelerators, storage, auto-shutdown and snapshot settings, IP addresses and usage rate.list_machine_events: List lifecycle events (create, start, stop and so on) of machines with state, error text and timestamps.get_machine_availability: Check whether a machine type is currently available in a region.list_deployments: List the team's deployments with name, endpoint, project and creation time. Access keys are not returned.get_deployment: Get one deployment with its endpoint and latest spec: image, region, port, enabled flag and health time. Access keys are not returned.list_deployment_runs: List the active runs of a deployment with replica, ready replica and available replica counts.list_projects: List the team's projects with name, linked repository and creation time.list_datasets: List datasets with name, description, visibility and modification time.list_models: List registered models with name, description, project and visibility.list_snapshots: List machine snapshots with name, machine id and whether the snapshot was automatic.
BYOK key
You bring your own Paperspace Paperspace API key (https://docs.digitalocean.com/reference/paperspace/api-keys/). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to api.paperspace.com over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.

What it is not
Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Paperspace. Paperspace and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with.
