What Paymo Billing and Planning (BYOK) is for

Paymo Billing and Planning (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own Paymo Billing and Planning data through the Paymo Billing and Planning API with a key you supply (API key). Read-only: 9 tools (list_estimates, list_invoice_payments, list_recurring_invoice_profiles, list_bookings, list_project_statuses, list_workflows, list_workflow_statuses, list_project_templates, get_company). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to app.paymoapp.com. Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Paymo Billing and Planning. Paymo Billing and Planning and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with.

Ask your assistant things like:

  • "Which Paymo estimates are still in draft?"
  • "What payments did we receive in Paymo?"
  • "Which recurring invoices are set up in Paymo?"
  • "Who is booked on Paymo project 123 in December?"
  • "What project statuses does Paymo have?"
  • "Which task workflows are defined in Paymo?"

What it does

  • list_estimates: List estimates with client id, number, status, currency, date, subtotal, tax and total.
  • list_invoice_payments: List payments recorded against invoices with invoice id, amount and date.
  • list_recurring_invoice_profiles: List recurring invoice profiles (schedules that create invoices) with client, currency, subtotal and total.
  • list_bookings: List resource bookings (planned hours per day for a person on a task) for a project, task, user or date interval. At least one condition is required.
  • list_project_statuses: List project statuses (Active, On-hold, Cancelled ...) with active and read-only flags and order.
  • list_workflows: List task workflows (sets of task statuses) with default flag.
  • list_workflow_statuses: List the statuses of task workflows with colour and action, optionally of one workflow.
  • list_project_templates: List project templates with name and dates.
  • get_company: Show the company account settings: name, country, account type, default currency, hourly price, tax, invoice due interval, language and date format.

BYOK key

You bring your own Paymo Billing and Planning API key (https://app.paymoapp.com/#Paymo.module.myaccount/). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to app.paymoapp.com over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.

Data sources

Live from the Paymo Billing and Planning API (app.paymoapp.com) with a BYOK key; documentation: https://github.com/paymoapp/api/blob/master/README.md. Endpoints checked against that documentation on 2026-10-16.

What it is not

Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Paymo Billing and Planning. Paymo Billing and Planning and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with. It is read-only: it never creates, changes, sends or deletes anything in your Paymo Billing and Planning account.
