What Paystack (BYOK) is for
Paystack (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own Paystack data through the Paystack API with a key you supply (secret key (sk_live_... or sk_test_...)). Read-only: 10 tools (list_transactions, get_transaction, get_transaction_totals, list_customers, list_plans, list_subscriptions, list_refunds, list_transfers, list_disputes, get_balance). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to api.paystack.co. Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Paystack. Paystack and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with.
Ask your assistant things like:
- "What were my latest successful Paystack transactions?"
- "Show me Paystack transaction 4099260516"
- "How much volume did my Paystack account process in January 2026?"
- "Who are my Paystack customers?"
- "What subscription plans do I have on Paystack?"
- "Which Paystack subscriptions are active and when is the next payment?"
What it does
list_transactions: List transactions, newest first, with status, amount (in the lowest currency unit, for example kobo), currency, channel, fees and customer.get_transaction: Get one transaction by its numeric id, with status, amount, fees, customer, card authorization details and plan.get_transaction_totals: Totals for a period: number of transactions, total volume, volume by currency and pending transfers.list_customers: List customers with name, email, phone and customer code.list_plans: List subscription plans with amount, interval, currency and subscriber counts.list_subscriptions: List subscriptions with status, amount, next payment date, plan and customer.list_refunds: List refunds with status, amount, currency, the transaction reference and the reason.list_transfers: List transfers (payouts) with amount, status, recipient and reference. Transfers default to the pending status unless a status is given.list_disputes: List chargebacks and disputes with status, category, refund amount and due date.get_balance: Show the account balance per currency, in the lowest currency unit.
BYOK key
You bring your own Paystack secret key (sk_live_... or sk_test_...) (https://paystack.com/docs/api/). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to api.paystack.co over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.
Data sources

Live from the Paystack API (api.paystack.co) with a BYOK key; documentation: https://paystack.com/docs/api/. Endpoints checked against that documentation on 2026-10-16.
What it is not
Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Paystack. Paystack and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with. It is read-only: it never creates, changes, sends or deletes anything in your Paystack account.
