What Phase (BYOK) is for

Phase (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own Phase data through the Phase API with a key you supply (Phase service account token). Read-only: 10 tools (list_apps, get_app, list_environments, get_environment, list_roles, get_role, list_service_accounts, get_service_account, list_teams, get_team). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to api.phase.dev. Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Phase. Phase and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with.

Ask your assistant things like:

  • "Which apps exist in my Phase organisation?"
  • "Is server-side encryption enabled for this Phase app?"
  • "Which environments does this Phase app have?"
  • "What type is this Phase environment?"
  • "Which roles exist in my Phase organisation?"
  • "Does this Phase role grant global access?"

What it does

  • list_apps: List the Phase apps the service account can see, with name, description, whether server-side encryption is on and creation dates.
  • get_app: Get one Phase app by id with its description, encryption mode and dates.
  • list_environments: List the environments (Development, Staging, Production, custom) of one Phase app with type and order.
  • get_environment: Get one Phase environment by id with its type, order and dates.
  • list_roles: List the access roles defined in your Phase organisation with description, colour and whether each is a built-in default.
  • get_role: Get one Phase role by id, including whether it grants global access.
  • list_service_accounts: List the service accounts in your Phase organisation with their role and dates (tokens are never shown).
  • get_service_account: Get one Phase service account by id with its role and dates.
  • list_teams: List the teams in your Phase organisation with description and whether they are managed by SCIM (owner and member details left out).
  • get_team: Get one Phase team by id with description, SCIM status and the default roles it grants to members and service accounts.

BYOK key

You bring your own Phase Phase service account token (https://docs.phase.dev/public-api). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to api.phase.dev over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.

Data sources

Live from the Phase API (api.phase.dev) with a BYOK key; documentation: https://docs.phase.dev/public-api. Endpoints checked against that documentation on 2026-10-16.

What it is not

Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Phase. Phase and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with. It is read-only: it never creates, changes, sends or deletes anything in your Phase account.
