What Pipecat Cloud (BYOK) is for
Pipecat Cloud (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own Pipecat Cloud data through the Pipecat Cloud API with a key you supply (private API key). Read-only: 9 tools (list_agents, get_agent, list_agent_sessions, get_agent_session, list_builds, get_build, list_regions, get_organization_properties, list_secret_sets). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to api.pipecat.daily.co. Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Pipecat Cloud. Pipecat Cloud and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with.
Ask your assistant things like:
- "Which Pipecat Cloud agents do I have deployed?"
- "Is my Pipecat Cloud agent ready and how many sessions are active?"
- "How many cold starts did my Pipecat Cloud agent have today?"
- "What resources did this Pipecat Cloud session use?"
- "Did my last Pipecat Cloud builds succeed?"
- "What happened with this Pipecat Cloud build?"
What it does
list_agents: List Pipecat Cloud agents with name, region, deployment ids and creation and update times, optionally for one region.get_agent: Get one agent's readiness and health: ready and available flags, active session count, autoscaling limits, agent profile, current revision phase and creation and update times.list_agent_sessions: List sessions of an agent with start type (cold or warm), bot start time, completion status and timestamps; filter by status, start type, deployment or time. Page size default 10.get_agent_session: Get one session: deployment, cold start flag, bot start seconds, completion status, resource usage percentiles, Daily meeting ids and timestamps.list_builds: List cloud builds with status, region, Dockerfile path, error message, sizes, duration and timestamps; filter by status or region.get_build: Get one build's status, region, Dockerfile path, error message, sizes, duration and timestamps.list_regions: List the regions agents can be deployed to with display name, supported CPU architectures and whether the region is self-hosted.get_organization_properties: Get organization settings such as the default region for new deployments.list_secret_sets: List secret sets by name with type, region, readiness status and source; secret values are never returned.
BYOK key
You bring your own Pipecat Cloud private API key (https://pipecat.daily.co/). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to api.pipecat.daily.co over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.
Notices
Read-only: never starts or stops sessions, deploys agents or changes secrets. Secret values, agent logs and build logs are not returned. Use the private (not public) API key.
