What Placid (BYOK) is for
Placid (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own Placid data through the Placid API with a key you supply (Placid project API token). Read-only: 9 tools (list_templates, get_template, list_collections, get_collection, list_fonts, get_font, get_image, get_pdf, get_video). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to api.placid.app. Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Placid. Placid and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with.
Ask your assistant things like:
- "What Placid templates are in my project?"
- "What layers does this Placid template have?"
- "Which Placid template collections do I have?"
- "Which templates are in this Placid collection?"
- "Which custom fonts does my Placid project have?"
- "Show details of this Placid font"
What it does
list_templates: List the templates of the Placid project (20 per page) with title, tags, thumbnail URL and dynamic layer names and types. Follow links.next for more.get_template: Get one Placid template: title, tags, thumbnail and the list of dynamic layers (name and type) that can be filled when generating.list_collections: List the template collections of the Placid project with their title and template UUIDs.get_collection: Get one Placid template collection with its title and the UUIDs of its templates.list_fonts: List the custom fonts uploaded to the Placid project (20 per page) with the font code used as fontFamily in text layers.get_font: Get one custom font of the Placid project: font code, title, file name and upload time.get_image: Get a Placid image job by ID: status (queued, finished, error) and the URL of the generated image.get_pdf: Get a Placid PDF job by ID: status (queued, finished, error) and the URL of the generated PDF.get_video: Get a Placid video job by ID: status (queued, finished, error) and the URL of the generated video.
BYOK key
You bring your own Placid Placid project API token (https://placid.app/login). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to api.placid.app over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.
