What Plane (BYOK) is for
Plane (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own Plane data through the Plane API with a key you supply (Plane personal access token (Profile Settings > Personal Access Tokens)). Read-only: 10 tools (list_projects, list_work_items, get_work_item_by_identifier, list_states, list_labels, list_cycles, list_modules, list_epics, list_milestones, list_workspace_members). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to api.plane.so. Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Plane. Plane and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with.
Ask your assistant things like:
- "Which projects are in my Plane workspace?"
- "What work items are open in my Plane project?"
- "Show Plane work item WEB-42"
- "What workflow states does my Plane project have?"
- "Which labels exist in my Plane project?"
- "What is the current Plane cycle?"
What it does
list_projects: List the projects of a Plane workspace with name, identifier prefix, description and network type.list_work_items: List the work items (issues) of one Plane project with priority, state, labels, assignees and creation time.get_work_item_by_identifier: Get one Plane work item by its readable identifier, project prefix plus number (for example WEB-42).list_states: List the workflow states of a Plane project (for example backlog, started, completed) with group and order.list_labels: List the labels of a Plane project with colour and description.list_cycles: List the cycles (sprints) of a Plane project with dates and status.list_modules: List the modules of a Plane project with start and target dates and status.list_epics: List the epics of a Plane project.list_milestones: List the milestones of a Plane project with target dates.list_workspace_members: List the members of a Plane workspace with name, email and numeric role.
BYOK key
You bring your own Plane Plane personal access token (Profile Settings > Personal Access Tokens) (https://developers.plane.so/api-reference/introduction). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to api.plane.so over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.
Notices
Works with Plane Cloud (api.plane.so). Self-hosted Plane instances are not supported.

What it is not
Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Plane. Plane and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with. It is read-only: it never creates, changes, sends or deletes anything in your Plane account.
