About

Pleo (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own Pleo data through the Pleo API with a key you supply (Pleo Standalone API key (enabled on request by Pleo)). Read-only: 6 tools (list_companies, search_accounting_entries, search_vendors, search_chart_of_accounts, search_tax_codes, list_export_jobs). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to external.pleo.io. Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Pleo. Pleo and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with.

Sources: Live from the Pleo API (external.pleo.io) with a BYOK key; documentation: https://developers.pleo.io/docs/current/authentication/standalone-api-keys-overview. Endpoints checked against that documentation on 2026-10-16.

BYOK: bring your own keyThis connector uses your own Pleo Pleo Standalone API key (enabled on request by Pleo). Create one at https://developers.pleo.io/docs/current/how-tos/api-keys/how-to-generate-standalone-api-keys, with the fewest permissions it needs (read-only if the provider offers it). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with every request. It is used for that one call only: never stored, logged or cached, and only ever sent to Pleo. Revoke it at the provider whenever you like. Unofficial connector: not affiliated with Pleo.
