What Ploi (BYOK) is for

Ploi (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own Ploi data through the Ploi API with a key you supply (API token (create it with read scopes only)). Read-only: 10 tools (get_user, list_servers, get_server, get_server_monitoring, list_sites, get_site, list_databases, list_crontabs, list_daemons, list_network_rules). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to ploi.io. Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Ploi. Ploi and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with.

Ask your assistant things like:

  • "Which Ploi account and plan is my token for?"
  • "Which servers do I have in Ploi and are they active?"
  • "Show details of my Ploi server"
  • "How busy has my Ploi server been lately (CPU, RAM, disk)?"
  • "Which sites run on my Ploi server and when were they last deployed?"
  • "Show details of a Ploi site"

What it does

  • get_user: Show the Ploi account the token belongs to: name, plan, plan expiry, time zone and creation date. Email and billing details are not returned.
  • list_servers: List the servers in the Ploi account with name, IP address, PHP and MySQL versions, number of sites and status.
  • get_server: Get one Ploi server by id: name, IP address, PHP and MySQL versions, number of sites, status and whether monitoring is on.
  • get_server_monitoring: Get recent monitoring samples of a Ploi server: CPU percent, RAM percent, disk percent and load average over time. Needs monitoring installed and a plan that includes it.
  • list_sites: List the sites on a Ploi server with domain, status, project type, PHP version, last deploy time, disk usage and repository flag.
  • get_site: Get one Ploi site: domain, status, project type, PHP version, last deploy time, disk usage and whether it has a repository and quick deploy.
  • list_databases: List the databases on a Ploi server with type, name, status and the site each belongs to. Passwords are not returned.
  • list_crontabs: List the cron jobs on a Ploi server with command, user, frequency, status and site.
  • list_daemons: List the daemons (background processes) on a Ploi server with command, process count, user, directory and status.
  • list_network_rules: List the firewall (network) rules of a Ploi server with name, port, source IP, allow or deny type and status.

BYOK key

You bring your own Ploi API token (create it with read scopes only) (https://developers.ploi.io/getting-started/authorization). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to ploi.io over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.

Data sources

Live from the Ploi API (ploi.io) with a BYOK key; documentation: https://developers.ploi.io/. Endpoints checked against that documentation on 2026-10-16.

What it is not

Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Ploi. Ploi and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with. It is read-only: it never creates, changes, sends or deletes anything in your Ploi account.
