What Plunk (BYOK) is for

Plunk (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own Plunk data through the Plunk API with a key you supply (secret API key (starts with sk_)). Read-only: 5 tools (list_contacts, get_contact, list_segments, list_templates, list_campaigns). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to next-api.useplunk.com. Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Plunk. Plunk and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with.

Ask your assistant things like:

  • "Which Plunk contacts are unsubscribed?"
  • "Show Plunk contact c_1."
  • "What Plunk segments do I have and how many contacts are in each?"
  • "Which Plunk email templates do I have?"
  • "How did my last Plunk campaigns perform (opens, clicks, bounces)?"

What it does

  • list_contacts: List contacts with email, subscribed flag, snooze date and timestamps (custom data fields are left out). Uses a cursor: pass the returned cursor to get the next page.
  • get_contact: Get one contact by id: email, subscribed flag, snooze date and timestamps.
  • list_segments: List segments with name, type (dynamic or static), member count and timestamps.
  • list_templates: List email templates with name, subject, sender, type (transactional, marketing or headless) and timestamps. Template bodies are left out.
  • list_campaigns: List campaigns with status, audience type, schedule and send counts (recipients, delivered, opened, clicked, bounced). Bodies are left out.

BYOK key

You bring your own Plunk secret API key (starts with sk_) (https://docs.useplunk.com/guides/api-keys). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to next-api.useplunk.com over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.

Data sources

Live from the Plunk API (next-api.useplunk.com) with a BYOK key; documentation: https://docs.useplunk.com/api-reference/overview. Endpoints checked against that documentation on 2026-10-16.

What it is not

Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Plunk. Plunk and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with. It is read-only: it never creates, changes, sends or deletes anything in your Plunk account.
