What Polytomic (BYOK) is for

Polytomic (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own Polytomic data through the Polytomic API with a key you supply (Polytomic user API key). Read-only: 10 tools (get_identity, get_organization, list_connection_types, list_connections, list_models, list_syncs, get_sync_status, list_sync_executions, list_bulk_syncs, list_events). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to app.polytomic.com. Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Polytomic. Polytomic and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with.

Ask your assistant things like:

  • "Which Polytomic organization is my API key for?"
  • "What is my Polytomic organization called?"
  • "Which systems can Polytomic connect to?"
  • "Which Polytomic connections do I have and are they healthy?"
  • "Which models are defined in Polytomic?"
  • "Which Polytomic syncs are active and how often do they run?"

What it does

  • get_identity: Show which Polytomic identity the key belongs to: organization, role and key type.
  • get_organization: Get the current organization: its ID and name.
  • list_connection_types: List the system types Polytomic can connect to (for example postgresql or hubspot) and whether each works as a source, destination or enrichment.
  • list_connections: List the configured connections with type, status and the number of API calls in the last 24 hours. Credentials are not picked.
  • list_models: List the models (queries or tables that feed syncs) with their connection, type and tracking columns.
  • list_syncs: List model syncs with mode, target object, schedule frequency and whether each is active. Up to 50 per page.
  • get_sync_status: Get the run state of one sync: when it runs next and its current and last execution.
  • list_sync_executions: List past runs of one sync with status, start and end times and record counts (inserts, updates, deletes, errors).
  • list_bulk_syncs: List bulk syncs (warehouse and database replication) with mode, source and destination connection and whether each is active.
  • list_events: List recent audit events of the organization (event type and time), up to 100.

BYOK key

You bring your own Polytomic Polytomic user API key (https://docs.polytomic.com/docs/getting-started). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to app.polytomic.com over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.

Data sources

Live from the Polytomic API (app.polytomic.com) with a BYOK key; documentation: https://apidocs.polytomic.com/. Endpoints checked against that documentation on 2026-10-16.

What it is not

Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Polytomic. Polytomic and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with. It is read-only: it never creates, changes, sends or deletes anything in your Polytomic account.
