About

PostHog Experiments (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own PostHog Experiments data through the PostHog Experiments API with a key you supply (personal API key (with experiment:read and activity_log:read scopes)). Read-only: 5 tools (list_experiments, get_experiment, get_experiment_health, get_experiment_session_exposure, list_experiment_activity). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to us.posthog.com, eu.posthog.com. Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by PostHog Experiments. PostHog Experiments and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with.

Sources: Live from the PostHog Experiments API (us.posthog.com, eu.posthog.com) with a BYOK key; documentation: https://posthog.com/docs/api/experiments. Endpoints checked against that documentation on 2026-10-16.

BYOK: bring your own keyThis connector uses your own PostHog Experiments personal API key (with experiment:read and activity_log:read scopes). Create one at https://us.posthog.com/settings/user-api-keys, with the fewest permissions it needs (read-only if the provider offers it). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with every request. It is used for that one call only: never stored, logged or cached, and only ever sent to PostHog Experiments. Revoke it at the provider whenever you like. Unofficial connector: not affiliated with PostHog Experiments.
