What PostHog Feature Flags (BYOK) is for
PostHog Feature Flags (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own PostHog Feature Flags data through the PostHog Feature Flags API with a key you supply (personal API key (with feature_flag:read and early_access_feature:read scopes)). Read-only: 7 tools (list_feature_flags, get_feature_flag, get_feature_flag_status, list_dependent_flags, list_feature_flag_activity, list_early_access_features, get_early_access_feature). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to us.posthog.com, eu.posthog.com. Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by PostHog Feature Flags. PostHog Feature Flags and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with.
Ask your assistant things like:
- "Which feature flags are enabled in my PostHog project?"
- "Show the rollout conditions of PostHog feature flag 7"
- "Is PostHog feature flag 7 stale or fully rolled out?"
- "Which flags depend on PostHog feature flag 7?"
- "What changed on PostHog feature flag 7 recently?"
- "Which early access features does my PostHog project offer?"
What it does
list_feature_flags: List the feature flags of a project with key, name, enabled state, status, tags and last evaluation time; filter by text, type, tag or state. Rollout conditions are left out; use get_feature_flag for them.get_feature_flag: Get one feature flag with its status, tags, evaluation contexts and release conditions (filters: groups, rollout percentages, variants).get_feature_flag_status: Show whether a flag is active, stale or inactive, why, and its rollout summary (full rollout, targeting conditions, maximum percentage).list_dependent_flags: List the flags that depend on a given flag (use it as a condition), with id, key and name.list_feature_flag_activity: List the change history of one flag: activity type, time, scope and change detail; the acting person is left out. Newest first.list_early_access_features: List the early access features of a project (opt-in previews) with name, stage, description and documentation link.get_early_access_feature: Get one early access feature with name, stage, description, documentation link and payload.
BYOK key
You bring your own PostHog Feature Flags personal API key (with feature_flag:read and early_access_feature:read scopes) (https://us.posthog.com/settings/user-api-keys). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to us.posthog.com, eu.posthog.com over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.
