What Postiz (BYOK) is for

Postiz (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own Postiz data through the Postiz API with a key you supply (Postiz API key (sent as-is, without Bearer)). Read-only: 11 tools (check_connection, get_workspace, list_channels, list_channel_groups, get_channel_rules, find_next_slot, list_posts, get_channel_analytics, get_post_analytics, list_notifications, list_media). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to api.postiz.com. Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Postiz. Postiz and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with.

Ask your assistant things like:

  • "Is my Postiz API key working?"
  • "Which Postiz workspace is this key connected to?"
  • "Which social accounts are connected in Postiz?"
  • "What customer groups do I have in Postiz?"
  • "What are the posting rules and length limit for my Postiz channel?"
  • "When is the next free Postiz slot on my channel?"

What it does

  • check_connection: Check that the Postiz API key is valid and connected.
  • get_workspace: Show the Postiz workspace (organization) the API key belongs to.
  • list_channels: List the connected social media channels (accounts) with platform, profile name and whether each is disabled, optionally for one customer group.
  • list_channel_groups: List the customer groups used to organize channels.
  • get_channel_rules: Get a channel's posting rules, maximum post length and the names of the provider tools available on it.
  • find_next_slot: Find the next free posting time slot of a channel.
  • list_posts: List posts (queued, published, errored or draft) scheduled in a date range, with channel, publish time, state and link.
  • get_channel_analytics: Get a channel's metrics (followers, impressions, engagement and similar, depending on the platform) as daily series for the last N days.
  • get_post_analytics: Get metrics of one published post (likes, comments, shares, impressions and similar, depending on the platform) for the last N days.
  • list_notifications: List workspace notifications, newest first, 100 per page.
  • list_media: List files in the media library, newest first, 18 per page, optionally filtered by file name.

BYOK key

You bring your own Postiz Postiz API key (sent as-is, without Bearer) (https://docs.postiz.com/general/settings/developers). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to api.postiz.com over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.

Data sources

Live from the Postiz API (api.postiz.com) with a BYOK key; documentation: https://docs.postiz.com/public-api/introduction. Endpoints checked against that documentation on 2026-10-16.

What it is not

Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Postiz. Postiz and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with. It is read-only: it never creates, changes, sends or deletes anything in your Postiz account.
