What Printago Job Control (BYOK) is for
Printago Job Control (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own Printago Job Control data through the Printago Job Control API with a key you supply (Printago API key). Reads and device changes: 7 tools (list_printers, get_printer, list_print_jobs, get_print_job, pause_print_job, resume_print_job, cancel_print_job). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to api.printago.io. Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Printago Job Control. Printago Job Control and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with.
Ask your assistant things like:
- "Which of my Printago printers are online and available?"
- "Show Printago printer prn_abc123"
- "Which Printago print jobs are queued or failed?"
- "What is the status of Printago print job job_abc123?"
- "Pause print job 65f0c1a2b3c4d5e6f7a8b9c0"
- "Resume print job 65f0c1a2b3c4d5e6f7a8b9c0"
What it does
list_printers: List the printers of the print farm with online and availability flags, nozzle diameter, tags and the job being printed. The API allows 600 requests per hour per store.get_printer: Get one printer by id.list_print_jobs: List print jobs of the queue and history with status, part or SKU name, assigned printer and start and finish times.get_print_job: Get one print job by id with its status, error message and timing.pause_print_job: Send the printer a command to pause one print job that is printing. This changes the physical printer state: the print stops moving until the job is resumed. The answer lists the job ids the command was accepted for. This does not start any print.resume_print_job: Send the printer a command to resume one paused print job. This changes the physical printer state: the printer starts moving again. The answer lists the job ids the command was accepted for. This does not start any print.cancel_print_job: Cancel one print job that is queued or printing. By default a stop command is also sent to the printer, which ends the running print for good; set send_stop to false to only mark the job cancelled in Printago. This changes the physical printer state when a stop is sent. The answer lists the job ids the command was accepted for. This does not start any print.
BYOK key
You bring your own Printago Job Control Printago API key (https://docs.printago.io/docs/api/keys). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to api.printago.io over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.

What it is not
Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Printago Job Control. Printago Job Control and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with. It reads your Printago Job Control data and can change device state only when a specific action is approved and confirmed (confirm = yes); it never deletes, resets, sends messages or creates paid resources.
