What Productboard (BYOK) is for
Productboard (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own Productboard data through the Productboard API with a key you supply (Productboard API access token (Pro plan or higher)). Read-only: 7 tools (list_notes, list_entities, list_members, list_teams, list_note_configurations, list_entity_configurations, list_member_activities). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to api.productboard.com. Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Productboard. Productboard and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with.
Ask your assistant things like:
- "What feedback notes were added to Productboard this month?"
- "Which features are in Productboard?"
- "Who are the members of our Productboard workspace?"
- "What teams exist in Productboard?"
- "Which fields do Productboard notes have?"
- "Which fields and filters do Productboard features support?"
What it does
list_notes: List customer feedback notes, newest first, with type, custom field values (name, content, owner, tags), dates and link. Filter by archived, processed, creation and update time.list_entities: List product entities (features, subfeatures, products, components, initiatives, objectives, releases and more) with type, field values (name, status, owner), dates and link.list_members: List workspace members with name, email, role, disabled and invitation flags and teams. Name and email show [redacted] unless the token has the members PII scope.list_teams: List teams with name, handle, description and dates.list_note_configurations: Describe which fields and relationships notes have in this workspace, per note type, so you know what list_notes returns.list_entity_configurations: Describe which fields, relationships and filters each entity type (feature, product, release and so on) has in this workspace.list_member_activities: List daily member activity counts (boards opened or created, features, notes and insights created) with date, member id and role.
BYOK key
You bring your own Productboard Productboard API access token (Pro plan or higher) (https://developer.productboard.com/reference/api-token). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to api.productboard.com over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.
