What Publer (BYOK) is for

Publer (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own Publer data through the Publer API with a key you supply (Publer API key (Business plan; choose read scopes)). Read-only: 10 tools (get_current_user, list_workspaces, list_accounts, list_posts, get_post, list_labels, list_analytics_charts, get_post_insights, get_hashtag_insights, get_best_times_to_post). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to app.publer.com. What it does

  • get_current_user: Show the Publer user the key belongs to: name, email and picture.
  • list_workspaces: List the workspaces the key's user can access with owner, plan and picture.
  • list_accounts: List the social media accounts connected to the workspace: provider, name, type and network id.
  • list_posts: List posts of the workspace filtered by state, date range, post type, text search or account, one page at a time.
  • get_post: Get one post with text, state, account, scheduled time, media, link, labels and recycling or recurring settings.
  • list_labels: List the labels of the workspace with their colors.
  • list_analytics_charts: List the analytics charts available for an account type (growth, insights, demographics) with ids to read in chart data.
  • get_post_insights: Get per-post analytics (reach, engagement, likes, comments, shares, saves, video views, clicks) of an account in a date range, 10 posts per page, sortable.
  • get_hashtag_insights: Get analytics per hashtag (posts, reach, likes, comments, shares, video views, score) of an account, 10 hashtags per page, sortable.
  • get_best_times_to_post: Get the heatmap of best days and hours to post for an account, based on its past analytics, in a date range.

BYOK key

You bring your own Publer Publer API key (Business plan; choose read scopes) (https://app.publer.com/). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to app.publer.com over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.
