What Qase (BYOK) is for

Qase (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own Qase data through the Qase API with a key you supply (Qase API token). Read-only: 9 tools (list_projects, list_test_cases, list_test_suites, list_test_runs, list_test_results, list_defects, list_test_plans, list_milestones, list_environments). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to api.qase.io. Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Qase. Qase and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with.

Ask your assistant things like:

  • "Which Qase projects do I have and how many test cases are in each?"
  • "Which blocker severity test cases are in Qase project DEMO?"
  • "How many cases does each test suite in Qase project DEMO have?"
  • "Which test runs failed recently in Qase project DEMO?"
  • "Which test results failed in run 5 of Qase project DEMO?"
  • "Which Qase defects are still open in project DEMO?"

What it does

  • list_projects: List the Qase projects visible to the token with code, title and counts of cases, suites, milestones, runs and defects.
  • list_test_cases: List test cases of a project (title, description, severity, priority, type, automation and status as numeric codes, suite and milestone); filter by text, suite, milestone or comma-separated severity, priority, type and status names.
  • list_test_suites: List the test suites of a project with parent suite and case counts.
  • list_test_runs: List test runs of a project with status, start and end time, statistics and time spent; filter by status or start time (Unix seconds).
  • list_test_results: List individual test results of a project with case id, run id, status, comment, stack trace and time spent; filter by status, run ids, case ids or end time.
  • list_defects: List defects of a project with severity, status, actual result, milestone and timestamps; filter by status.
  • list_test_plans: List test plans of a project with title, description and number of cases.
  • list_milestones: List milestones of a project with status (active or completed) and due date.
  • list_environments: List the test environments of a project with slug and host.

BYOK key

You bring your own Qase Qase API token (https://developers.qase.io/docs/connecting-to-qase). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to api.qase.io over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.

Data sources

Live from the Qase API (api.qase.io) with a BYOK key; documentation: https://developers.qase.io/reference/get-projects. Endpoints checked against that documentation on 2026-10-16.

What it is not

Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Qase. Qase and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with. It is read-only: it never creates, changes, sends or deletes anything in your Qase account.
