What Qlty (BYOK) is for

Qlty (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own Qlty data through the Qlty API with a key you supply (Qlty API token). Read-only: 12 tools (get_current_user, list_workspaces, get_workspace, list_projects, get_project, list_issues, list_builds, get_build, get_project_metrics, get_project_metric_series, list_components, get_rate_limit). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to api.qlty.sh. Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Qlty. Qlty and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with.

Ask your assistant things like:

  • "Which Qlty account is my token connected to?"
  • "Which Qlty workspaces do I have access to?"
  • "When was the acme Qlty workspace created?"
  • "Which repositories does acme-corp analyze with Qlty?"
  • "What is the Qlty project ID of the my-repo repository?"
  • "What open high-level security issues does my-repo have in Qlty?"

What it does

  • get_current_user: Show the Qlty user the token belongs to: login, name, email, profile link and creation date.
  • list_workspaces: List the Qlty workspaces the token can access, with their key and provider link.
  • get_workspace: Get one Qlty workspace by key or ID.
  • list_projects: List the Qlty projects (analyzed repositories) of a GitHub owner or workspace, optionally only those assigned to one application.
  • get_project: Get one Qlty project by repository name or project ID: workspace, provider link and the application it belongs to.
  • list_issues: List code quality issues Qlty found in a project, filtered by category, level, status or tool, with rule, message, file location and documentation link.
  • list_builds: List a project's Qlty builds, newest first, with type, status, branch, commit and queue time.
  • get_build: Get one Qlty build by ID with status, conclusion, branch, commit, pull request number, queue and execution seconds.
  • get_project_metrics: Get the latest value of every Qlty metric of a project on its default branch: maintainability, reliability, security, size and coverage.
  • get_project_metric_series: Get the history of Qlty metrics for a project as a time series bucketed by day, week or month (default window: six months).
  • list_components: List the components (named groups of files) defined in a project, with path globs and file counts.
  • get_rate_limit: Show the token's current Qlty API rate limit: limit, used, remaining and reset time. Does not use up any of the limit.

BYOK key

You bring your own Qlty Qlty API token (https://qlty.sh/user/settings/tokens). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to api.qlty.sh over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.

Data sources

Live from the Qlty API (api.qlty.sh) with a BYOK key; documentation: https://docs.qlty.sh/api/introduction. Endpoints checked against that documentation on 2026-10-16.

What it is not

Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Qlty. Qlty and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with. It is read-only: it never creates, changes, sends or deletes anything in your Qlty account.
