What Quaderno Tax Settings (BYOK) is for
Quaderno Tax Settings (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own Quaderno Tax Settings data through the Quaderno Tax Settings API with a key you supply (Quaderno API key (private key)). Read-only: 5 tools (calculate_tax_rate, list_tax_ids, list_coupons, list_report_requests, list_webhooks). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to *.quadernoapp.com. Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Quaderno Tax Settings. Quaderno Tax Settings and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with.
Ask your assistant things like:
- "What VAT rate applies to an eservice sold to a customer in Germany?"
- "Which tax registrations does my Quaderno account have?"
- "Which Quaderno checkout coupons are active?"
- "Which Quaderno reports have I requested?"
- "Which Quaderno webhooks are set up and are they failing?"
What it does
calculate_tax_rate: Calculate the tax that applies to a sale for a destination country (and optionally postal code and city), tax code, product type, amount and date. Returns rate, taxable part, tax amount, totals, status (taxable, non_taxable, not_registered, reverse_charge) and any notice.list_tax_ids: List the tax IDs registered on the account with value, jurisdiction, verification state, validity dates and flags for import scheme and permanent establishment.list_coupons: List checkout coupons newest first with code, name, kind (amount_off or percent_off), amount or percent, currency, redemption limits and counts.list_report_requests: List tax and document report requests with type (tax_summary, invoices_list or credits_list), state, parameters and times. The download link is not returned.list_webhooks: List webhooks newest first with target URL, event types, number of events sent, and the last send and last error times. The authentication key is not returned.
BYOK key
You bring your own Quaderno Tax Settings Quaderno API key (private key) (https://quadernoapp.com/users/api-keys). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to *.quadernoapp.com over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.
