What Rebuy (BYOK) is for

Rebuy (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own Rebuy data through the Rebuy API with a key you supply (Rebuy API key). Read-only: 7 tools (list_data_sources, get_top_sellers, get_trending_products, get_recommended_products, get_similar_products, get_collection_products, get_products_by_ids). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to rebuyengine.com. Ask your assistant things like:

  • "Which Rebuy data sources can my store use?"
  • "What are my top selling products in Rebuy?"
  • "Which products are trending in my store?"
  • "What does Rebuy recommend alongside Shopify product 123?"
  • "Which products are similar to Shopify product 123?"
  • "Show the products in Shopify collection 456 as Rebuy sees them"

What it does

  • list_data_sources: List the Rebuy data sources (product recommendation endpoints) available to the store, with their names, descriptions and paths.
  • get_top_sellers: Get the store's top selling products according to Rebuy's sales data, with variants and prices.
  • get_trending_products: Get products trending in recent sales, with variants and prices.
  • get_recommended_products: Get Rebuy's highest converting cross-sell products for a Shopify product, variant or collection.
  • get_similar_products: Get products similar to the given Shopify products.
  • get_collection_products: Get the products of one or more Shopify collections, optionally sorted by likelihood to convert or by top sellers.
  • get_products_by_ids: Look up specific products by Shopify product IDs or handles, or the products of one collection.

BYOK key

You bring your own Rebuy Rebuy API key (https://rebuyengine.com/account/keys). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to rebuyengine.com over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.
