What Recurly Catalog (BYOK) is for

Recurly Catalog (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own Recurly Catalog data through the Recurly Catalog API with a key you supply (Recurly private API key (US data center sites)). Read-only: 9 tools (get_plan, list_plan_add_ons, list_items, get_item, list_coupons, get_coupon, list_measured_units, list_shipping_methods, list_price_segments). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to v3.recurly.com. What it does

  • get_plan: Get one Recurly plan by id or code with pricing per currency, setup fees, billing interval, trial, billing cycles, tax settings and accounting code.
  • list_plan_add_ons: List the add-ons of one Recurly plan with type (fixed or usage), price per currency, tiers, default quantity and whether they are optional.
  • list_items: List Recurly items (one-off catalog charges) with code, name, state, SKU, accounting code, tax settings and price per currency.
  • get_item: Get one Recurly item by id or code with price per currency, SKU, accounting and tax settings.
  • list_coupons: List Recurly coupons with code, name, state, redemption limits, duration, discount, free trial and expiry. Redeeming accounts are not returned.
  • get_coupon: Get one Recurly coupon by id or code with its discount, duration, redemption limits and the plans or items it applies to.
  • list_measured_units: List measured units (what usage add-ons are measured in, such as API calls) with name, display name and state.
  • list_shipping_methods: List shipping methods with code, name, accounting code and tax code.
  • list_price_segments: List price segments (code and id) used to give different prices to different groups of customers.

BYOK key

You bring your own Recurly Catalog Recurly private API key (US data center sites) (https://app.recurly.com/go/developer/api_keys). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to v3.recurly.com over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.
